Horror and fantasy have always been strongly related through their shared gothic lineage and the survival horror genre in particular has long adhered to a dungeon crawling game structure which greatly influences the ways in which its stories are constructed.

23/04/23: Before the Web: Diskmags on Amiga

Between printed zines and websites, we had diskmags; publications distributed via computer storage media that, alongside BBSes, were used as a way to spread news, art, stories, and even community before widespread access to the internet. The multimedia capabilities of the Amiga made it a prime platform for some of the coolest, most colourful, and most atmospheric diskmags of its era.
